Women in 16th Century BCE-5th Century CE

Overview

This exhibit will highlight the women who were involved in warfare dating back to some of the earliest recordings, starting off at the 16th Century. Much of this information is questioned as to how much of it happened, and to what extent the players were involved. However, no matter how much these women were involved in wars or not, the documentation of them that has survived shows that women have been involved in warfare for millennia.
